This collection of photographs I took mainly as a personal series outside of college, but I thought they should be shown because I believe they contain strong compositions and themes.

Bird Series

This series I took pictures of different species of birds in various locations. I wanted to capture still images of their movement patterns because I wanted to study their biomechanics and anatomy. I feel like birds are majestic creatures that should be observed in action more often solely for the advanced methods of traveling in the air.

Knight Life Series

These are photos I took personally where I went on various adventures, primarily in the night time. I wanted to capture the intensity of each setting I was in, whether I try to display it through the harsh colors, the clashing of lights and shadows, the griminess of different settings, or the aggressive acts of performance. I titled this series “Knight Life” because I want the viewer to feel like they are going on a dangerous, and enchanted trek through my images like a knight in the medieval times.
